The Beautiful Earthscapes Of Andres Amador Are Temporary Brilliance

When most artists dedicate hours upon hours of their lives to a project, they don't expect it to disappear into thin air. However, that's exactly what Andres Amador knows will happen. That's because his beautiful artworks are made to be temporary. He is an earthscape artist.

We have featured Andres's artwork before, but he has since created even more wonderful earthscapes in the sand. It's amazing that, at one point in his life, Andres was a computer technician. Thankfully, his creativity, flair for perfection, and a new found obsession with fractals led him to embracing this art form.

With just a rake and maybe some string for making measurements, Andres creates art you won't believe.

Not only is this large, beautiful creation temporary...

But it was made from material found in the Earth...and that will go back to the Earth.

Every high tide will wash away Andres's work.

That doesn't stop him from spending so much of his life creating temporary masterpieces.

There are two kinds of patterns that Andres specializes in. The first is geometric. These designs, like fractals, are made with precise measurements and an eye for perfection. Seeing this kind of artwork up-close will make you realize just how difficult it must be to keep everything properly sized and in proportion.

This is an example of one of his geometric shapes.
